While the creatives are revered for seeing beyond the confines of their box they still endure resistance for attempting to escape it. The pursuit of the muse cannot be contained but, like a hyperactive child being medicated, society demands they conform. It’s human nature to evolve and that journey requires fluidity. The creative pursuit is about opening doors to expand the conscious frontier. To believe that process should be a straight line with a definitive end is a disservice to a practice built on loop de loops and corkscrews."
Every photograph in my landscape gallery is named after a song. I use music to help tell my story with the photo and the title "Band of Brothers" was carefully selected for that purpose. The Willie Nelson track was the perfect statement to accompany this rare black and white piece and I've included the song for you to play above.
