"A primal forest of rugged wilderness, a mystical silence hangs in the air. Apprehension settles like liquid resin as the world falls eerily still. Attention draws to the sky to find the heavens gliding through the atmosphere. This landscape has grown to stretch for its rightful home in the clouds but the motherland has returned to call upon its misplaced child. Caressing the garden with gentle grace, the mist hovers with longing for its long lost love. The canopy snuggles into the holy embrace, pining for an everlasting reunion. But these spirits are married to different worlds and must remain where they are bound, so the gods can only visit this sacred sanctuary they regrettably gifted to Earth."
Every photograph in my landscape gallery is named after a song. I use music to help tell my story with the photo and the title "High On You Mama" was carefully selected for that purpose. The Steve Miller Band track fit the bill perfectly for this piece and if you'd like to take a break to watch the trees sway in the fog I've included the song for you to play above.
