"I Got A Name"

Oregon

"As if possessed by migratory instinct, I entered the forest, chasing the call of a magnetic energy that bewitched my soul. With confidence I trekked toward a destination unknown and yet assuredly there. Cutting through the brush, frantic with anticipation intensifying with every step like a bloodhound closing in on a scent. Then the urge to continue vanished instantaneously, I stopped, my summons was complete. A warmth emanated as I felt the embrace of the forest welcome me. The trees turned to greet me full of songbirds quietly serenading for my heart. The anticipation relaxed with a sigh and was replaced by a welling sensation of comfort. I was home."

Every photograph in my landscape gallery is named after a song. I use music to help tell my story with the photo and the title "I Got A Name" was carefully selected for that purpose. The Jim Croce track fit the bill perfectly for this piece and if you'd like to follow me on a soul-searching journey I've included the song for you to play above. To learn more about "I Got A Name" and its connection to the Jim Croce song you can read its featured post as part of my "Behind the Title" blog series.

This photograph is a limited edition of 100 and will arrive hand signed and numbered on the media of your choosing. Prices vary with the remaining edition quantity, for current pricing or additional information about this piece please email me.
