"Knocking on Heaven's Door"

"Built to withstand the test of time, these hallowed walls are held together by four hundred years of wisdom. Every chamber, through construction or corrosion, was flooded with light except for one allowed to keep its secrets. The air was damp and chilled with a hint of stale decay. A curiosity for the contents concealed in the darkness caused hesitation. The labyrinth led here but surely it would not reconvene. Muscle memory set the fuse for the apparatus that would reveal the final mystery within this historic friary. The trigger fired, the cannon shot, and in a flash the gates of heaven appeared."
Every photograph in my landscape gallery is named after a song. I use music to help tell my story with the photo and the title "Knocking on Heaven's Door" was carefully selected for that purpose.
