"Rover"

"There’s a rover within all of us that dares to run wild. This wayward spirit calls for adventure when mundanity catches us ill. Like a gypsy’s soul it craves mischief, to sprint for the cliff of the known and jettison itself recklessly into the abyss. We feed this hungry urge on occasion but the fear of surrendering control keeps the beast contained. But as we rest, our mind wanders, and its sweet temptation creeps back in, daring us to set it free. Rational thinking hushes the whispering temptress but deep down the thrilling call has the key in the lock, gripped by a hand trembling with adrenaline."
Every photograph in my landscape gallery is named after a song. I use music to help tell my story with the photo and the title "Rover" was carefully selected for that purpose.
