"Dusk arrives on the coattails of the departing sun, ushering its vibrant energy toward a new horizon. As the light fades, the hills begin to unwind, exhaling deep and slow. Tension dissolves as the hard edges relax with the shifting mood. Fluffed and feathered, the dunes absorb the soothing tones of dusk, snuggling softly beneath their cozy blanket of blue. Peace sweeps across the desert, the tranquility intoxicating enough to make the horizon blush. Time itself slows to savor the serene scene, lingering with the dimming light to bask in the calm. As night creeps in to lay it to rest, a final sigh deepens the ocean of blue while the moon whispers a final hush across the land."
Purgatory on Earth, the Sands Study documents the elegant beauty of the hellish dune landscape. The lore of purgatory is one of intense suffering, a place designed to punish the souls vanquished to it in order to purify them for eternal peace.
