"Serenade to a Cuckoo"
Costa Rica
"The canopy stretched to kiss the heavens above. The angelic vapor, trickling through the trees, spritzed the lush jungle until it dripped with sustenance. From the floor below, the glowing clouds radiated through the forest, revealing the bones of the canopy like an x-ray. The network of foliage sprawled out harmoniously across the atmospheric frontier with each branch distributing its leaves evenly to maximize exposure while simultaneously preserving a natural irrigation system of light for the greenery below. This elaborate labyrinth carving the sky like a river carves the earth exemplifies the wisdom of nature. Control is not needed to achieve balance, the natural order has established a doctrine that, left unchecked, will allow all life to thrive."
Every photograph in my landscape gallery is named after a song. I use music to help tell my story with the photo and the title "Serenade to a Cuckoo" was carefully selected for that purpose. The Jethro Tull track fit perfectly for this piece and if you'd like to vibe with the birds darting through the canopy of this Costa Rican rainforest I've included the song for you to play above.
This photograph is a limited edition of 100 and will arrive hand signed and numbered on the media of your choosing. Prices vary with the remaining edition quantity, for current pricing or additional information about this piece please email me.
