"Slim Slow Slider"

Hawaii

"The allure was immediate, the green stalks, thin and smooth, seduced my eye to enter the lair. That juvenile innocence faded, tarnished by etched textures from previous prey attempting to escape. But the added character baited me deeper, tempting me with grand sensations of zen. Towering above, the bamboo began to blot out the sun, the forest floor darkening into a menacing state of dusk. Drunk on inspiration I stumbled further into the belly of the beast, studying every unique reed and their ever changing alignment, ignorant to the meal I was about to become. Finally, the darkness overpowered the mesmerizing illusion, shaking me from my trance before the forest swallowed me whole."

Every photograph in my landscape gallery is named after a song. I use music to help tell my story with the photo and the title "Slim Slow Slider" was carefully selected for that purpose. The Van Morrison track fit perfectly for this piece and if you'd like to get lost with me in the serenity of a bamboo forest I've included the song for you to play above.

This photograph is a limited edition of 100 and will arrive hand signed and numbered on the media of your choosing. Prices vary with the remaining edition quantity, for current pricing or additional information about this piece please email me.
