"Songs From the Wood"

Ireland

"Forgotten deep in the Irish countryside, nature has begun reclaiming this home abandoned. The elements beat the hardened forcefield, weakening its defense. Insurgents root in the cracks, further fracturing the foundation. As the growth swallows the remnants of the structure, it holds firm, resisting a fate already sealed. Clinging to its sturdy construction, the war is not against nature but time. The beings that it was meant to serve are gone and slowly it will submit to serve the life that was originally taken."

Every photograph in my landscape gallery is named after a song. I use music to help tell my story with the photo and the title "Songs From the Wood" was carefully selected for that purpose. The Jethro Tull track fit perfectly for this piece and if you'd like a taste of the essence of Ireland I've included the song for you to play above.

This photograph is a limited edition of 100 and will arrive hand signed and numbered on the media of your choosing. Prices vary with the remaining edition quantity, for current pricing or additional information about this piece please email me.

A bright interior space.
