"The lens through which we view the world affects our perspective of reality and the standards for which we set for beauty and brilliance determine our fascination with it. In today’s landscape, our perception has been skewed beyond the natural capabilities of this world. We’ve set our expectations to perfection or bust which has diluted the magnificence that exists all around us. A shift is needed to recalibrate our collective perspective or we will be doomed to a life of disappointment. We must discard the filters that distort our vision and reset our expectations that have numbed our sense of awe. If we can strip the saturated illusions from our walls we can experience the natural wonder of this big, bold world again."
Every photograph in my landscape gallery is named after a song. I use music to help tell my story with the photo and the title "Take Me Home Country Roads" was carefully selected for that purpose.
