"Waiting for the Miracle"

"Born in the shadows, he entered the world unnoticed. His upbringing was crooked and twisted, his fight with fate fixed, but despite its mangling he refused to yield. Determined to rise beyond the squalor, he planted himself at the feet of the gods with a dream to join them in the hallowed halls of immortality. Their images were flawless, their reputations revered, they stood proud and were worshiped for their greatness. But atop their glowing towers stretching toward the heavens is a gnarled token of a life in the shadows with a similar determination to one day touch the sun."

Every photograph in my landscape gallery is named after a song. I use music to help tell my story with the photo and the title "Waiting for the Miracle" was carefully selected for that purpose. Leonard Cohen's voice captures the mood of this mangled aspen tree perfectly and I've included the song above.

This photograph is a limited edition of 100 and will arrive hand signed and numbered on the media of your choosing. Prices vary with the remaining edition quantity, for current pricing or additional information about this piece please email me.
