"Elenore"

Oregon

"The Pacific Northwest, like a factory for green, covers itself with the color. The lumbering trees flaunt lush evergreen canopies. The understory of yearlings sport new growth in a vibrant shade of kelly. Emerald ferns carpet the forest floor, concealing the rich earth funding the operation. The remaining surfaces are camouflaged in fifty shades of moss. Dripping from the trees, wrapped around their trunks, and painted on the rocks, it’s the fuzzy fur coat of the forest. With centuries of unfettered production, the region has built up quite the inventory and is always open for tours."

Every photograph in my landscape gallery is named after a song. I use music to help tell my story with the photo and the title "Elenore" was carefully selected for that purpose. The Turtles track fit perfectly for this piece and if you'd like to gaze at the majestic Elowah Falls through this tunnel of moss with me I've included the song for you to play above. To learn more about "Elenore" and its connection to The Turtles song you can read its featured post as part of my "Behind the Title" blog series.

This photograph is a limited edition of 100 and will arrive hand signed and numbered on the media of your choosing. Prices vary with the remaining edition quantity, for current pricing or additional information about this piece please email me.
