"It often feels as though chaos is the ruling system in the universe but that is merely a guise for a calculated operation. Life happens in a dense swirling haze but a trail of organized breadcrumbs is left behind. The path that led to this golden forest was an easy one to trace. The purpose, however, was harder to uncover. We all have a path in this life and when our navigation fails the universe provides guidance. It’s easy to miss or forget the assistance we’re provided but a reminder of the forces on our side is a memory worth capturing."
Every photograph in my landscape gallery is named after a song. I use music to help tell my story with the photo and the title "Learning to Fly" was carefully selected for that purpose. The Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers track fit perfectly for this piece and if you'd like to soar over the autumn aspens with me I've included the song for you to play above.
