"Someone Like You"

"The slow release of calm was dripping into my being, every second pulling me further under as I slipped into serenity. The soft hills massaged my mind into a marshmallow. The subtle blues tranquilized my muscles, melting the fibers like wax. Drained of tension I melded with the landscape, an amalgamation of sand and soul maneuvering the hills with the urgency of molasses. The effects deepened until the blissful energy finally subdued the last molecule of stress, stranding me in nirvana, paralyzed by peace."
Every photograph in my landscape gallery is named after a song. I use music to help tell my story with the photo and the title "Someone Like You" was carefully selected for that purpose. The Van Morrison track fit perfectly for this piece and if you'd like immerse yourself in the peace of this morning at White Sands I've included the song for you to play above.
